I’ve been trying to note how people vocations use a different terminology for the people they provide service for.

VocationRefer to people as…Example
SalespersonAccountI have a close relationship with that account
Health PractiotionerPatientThe patient would come in today
ConsultantClientI met up with the client today
Waiter/WaitressPartyWe’re expecting a party of 1 at noon
TeacherStudentsMy students are here now
LawyerClientThey’re a high profile client of mine
TherapistClient/PateintThey’re a vulnerable client
Tech SupportUserThe user didn’t clink a button
Project ManagerStakeholderWe’ll present to the stakeholders
Customer Service AgentCustomerThe customer wasn’t happy
MarketerAudienceThe audience didn’t like it too much

All of these are people who are served, but the word changes based on the vocation.
